Initiated with the aim of improving the level of education among children of low-income families in Rajasthan, applications for the Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme 2024 commenced from January 8, 2024. Benefits

• Students from economically weaker sections who are eligible for the merit list in the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education’s senior secondary examination will receive ₹500 per month, which will be paid annually up to a maximum of ₹5000.
• Under this scheme, regular students in higher education institutions will be eligible for benefits for a maximum of 5 years, and if a student drops out of studies five years before, this benefit will be valid until then.
• Physically handicapped eligible students will receive ₹1000 per month, which will be paid annually up to ₹10,000. For this, the disabled student will have to submit the 40% disabled certificate issued by the Medical Board constituted by the Health Department.

Application Process

The process of applying online for the Rajasthan Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme 2024 is as follows:

• First, visit the SSO portal and log in with your SSO ID.
• If the student does not have an SSO ID, they must first create one and then log in.
• Then, the student needs to update their SSO ID profile, including details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, Jan Aadhar ID, Aadhar number, etc.
• After that, the applicant needs to log in to their SSO ID again.
• Then, click on the scholarship icon in the Citizen app.
• Next, select the student option and click OK.
• Then, the names of all the members associated with the Jan Aadhar card will appear. The student’s name should be selected, and then click OK.
• Next, enter your Aadhar number and verify it with OTP.

• Then go back to the scholarship option and go to the New Application option.
• Then verify with OTP.
