The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) 1 for the Civil Services Mains examination 2023. Candidates are advised to visit the official UPSC website to check and submit the form.
The CSE Prelims results were announced by UPSC on June 12. Qualified candidates can access the official website to fill in the Mains form. The deadline for form submission is July 19, 2023.
A notice regarding this process is available on the official website, stating that candidates who have cleared the Preliminary examination need to apply again using the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023. The DAF-I is available online from July 10, 2023, to July 19, 2023, until 6:00 P.M. Candidates are required to fill up and submit the DAF-I online to be eligible for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023.
The Civil Service Mains Exam 2023 is scheduled to be held on September 15, 2023. The CSE Preliminary examination took place on May 18, 2023.

To apply, candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website, upsc.gov.in.
- Under the What’s New section on the homepage, click on the link labeled ‘DAF: 1 Civil Service Mains Exam 2023’.
- A new page will open.
- Enter the required credentials and click submit.
- Upload the necessary documents and make the payment of the fee.
- Click submit to complete the application.
