CUET DU Admissions 2023: ABVP launches helplines for smooth admission process

With the CUET results 2023 announced, ABVP has set up helplines for Delhi University admissions, assisting students with admission-related queries and providing guidance during this crucial period.

The student union, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), has taken proactive measures to support students in the admission process for central universities in Delhi through the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). ABVP has established helplines to address admission-related queries and provide guidance during this crucial period.

Since last year, admissions to all central universities in Delhi have been based on performance in the CUET exam. Recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET UG Result on July 15, signaling the commencement of the admission process.

Over 11.11 lakh candidates appeared for the CUET UG exam this year.

ABVP Helplines for Admission Assistance

To ensure a seamless admission process and assist students with their queries, ABVP has set up dedicated helpline numbers. Students can contact these helplines for assistance with admission-related inquiries.

The helpline numbers are as follows: 6202627366 for Delhi University (DU), 8808508809 for Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), 8340799704 for Jamia Millia Islamia University, and 8826905727 for Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University.

Harsh Attri, the ABVP Delhi state secretary, encourages students facing any issues during the admission process to reach out to the helpline numbers for assistance.

Streamlining DU Admissions

This year, Delhi University admissions will be conducted through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Recognizing that students may have questions and require support due to the slightly more complex admission process, ABVP has taken the initiative to establish helpline numbers. These helplines aim to provide convenience and assistance to aspiring students during the admission process.

CUET UG Result and Score Normalization

The NTA released the CUET UG Result on July 15, 2023. To ensure fairness in evaluating each candidate’s performance, the equi-percentile system is utilized for score normalization. The marks reflected in the scorecard represent normalized scores obtained through this process.
