GATE 2024: NMDC Announces Recruitment for Executive Trainees

 

 

The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. As of January 3, 2024, candidates can access their admit cards for the exam. The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Limited, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has declared its intention to invite applications from GATE 2024 takers for the position of Executive Trainee (Tech). NMDC is currently involved in extensive expansion and diversification, both in India and abroad.

 

NMDC’s official statement highlights their commitment to significant expansion and diversification activities, stating, “NMDC Ltd is actively engaged in extensive expansion and diversification, both within India and internationally. We intend to recruit Executive Trainees (Tech.) as per our requirements for the year 2024 and beyond.”

 

The statement further clarifies, “NMDC Ltd has planned to recruit Executive Trainees (Tech.) based on requirements during the year 2024 and beyond. For the recruitment applications will be invited from candidates who have appeared for GATE 2024 examination.”

 

Regarding the GATE 2024 examination, it is scheduled to occur on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Admit cards will be available for candidates starting on January 3, 2024, with answer keys expected on February 21, 2024, and official results on March 16, 2024.

 

The GATE 2024 examination structure involves two sessions, with a total of 30 test papers, including full papers and sectional papers. Question types include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Candidates have the option to select one or two test papers from the provided two-paper combinations. The GATE score remains valid for three years from the result declaration date. Notably, GATE 2024 introduces a new test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA), with a three-hour duration for the examination.

 

GATE, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is a prestigious national-level examination aimed at assessing candidates’ comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and Humanities. GATE 2024 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
