The QS Asia World University Rankings 2024 positions the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur at fifth place among Indian institutions, securing the 59th position overall in the continent. Released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the rankings encompass several Indian institutes, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and the University of Delhi, with a total of 148 Indian institutions represented.
IIT Kharagpur proudly joins the top 7% in the QS Asia University Rankings, achieving an impressive overall score of 54.5. Noteworthy performance in categories such as international research network, papers per faculty, employer and academic reputation, and staff members holding PhDs contributes to its ranking.
