NEET PG Counselling 2023: Cut-off percentile reduced to zero across all categories

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has taken a significant step by reducing the NEET PG 2023 counselling qualifying percentage to zero for all categories of Medical and Dental Postgraduate courses. Here are the key details.

According to an official notice issued by MoHFW, the qualifying percentile for NEET PG Counselling 2023 has been reduced to ‘ZERO’ for all categories, as per Letter No. U-12021/07/2023-MEC (Pt-I) dated 20.09.2023. The detailed notice is available on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website.

Important Details:

  • The reduction in the percentile opens the door for more candidates to participate in NEET PG counselling.
  • Fresh registration and choice filling for Round 3 of PG Counselling will be reopened for eligible candidates, allowing them to register and make choices.
  • Previously registered candidates can edit their choices without the need for re-registration.
