Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Scindia School’s 125th Foundation Day: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a special guest at the 125th Foundation Day celebrations of Scindia School in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, held on October 21. Founded by the Scindia family in 1897, Scindia School is an esteemed institution situated within the historic Gwalior Fort.
During this event, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a state-of-the-art multipurpose sports complex at the school, aiming to enhance sporting facilities for students and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.
In addition to these contributions, the Prime Minister presented the school’s annual awards to honor distinguished alumni and high-achieving students.
Scindia School, perched atop the Gwalior Fort, holds a rich history, having been established by the Gwalior royalty. Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, a descendant of the former royal family, is a prominent political figure in Madhya Pradesh.
The state is currently gearing up for assembly polls scheduled on November 17. The Prime Minister’s presence at the 125th Foundation Day celebration was warmly received by the school’s community, and Scindia School expressed gratitude for his participation.
