The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2024. Eligible candidates now have until November 6, 2023, for online registration with regular fees. Late registrations will be accepted until November 13, 2023.
The UCEED is the key to admission for both Indian and foreign nationals aspiring to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Design (BDes) at prestigious institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. The previous late registration window was from November 1 to November 8, 2023, while regular registrations closed on October 31, 2023.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,900 during the regular registration period. After November 6, an additional late fee of ₹1,900 will apply. The admit cards for the exam are set to release on January 5, 2025, with the UCEED scheduled for January 21, 2024.
