CBSE Closes Registration for Classes 9 and 11, Late Registration with Higher Fees Begins Tomorrow

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is concluding the registration process for students in classes 9 and 11 today, and they can complete the registration without incurring any late fees. Students in these classes can register by paying ₹300 for registration fees. For international students, the registration fees are approximately ₹500 for class 9 and ₹600 for class 11.

The digital registration process for CBSE Class 9 and 11 exams in 2024 is facilitated through the CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal. Those who haven’t registered for these annual exams can still do so by visiting the CBSE website.

Starting tomorrow, the board will only accept registrations with late fees. Indian students in classes 9 and 11 will be required to pay ₹2,300, while international students will have late fee charges of ₹2,500 for class 9 and ₹2,600 for class 11.

The registrations for classes 9 and 11 serve the purpose of advance planning for conducting board exams for classes 10 and 12 in the coming years. Additionally, it facilitates the communication of students’ personal details to their parents, enabling corrections to be made in case of any inaccuracies. This proactive approach helps avoid future issues.

Only students registered through the online process will be permitted to appear for the classes 10 and 12 board exams in the 2024-25 session. The board will also soon release the date sheet for the upcoming board exams for classes 10 and 12.
