In a significant development, the Mehsana district police in Gujarat have uncovered a gang involved in swiftly producing counterfeit marksheets. These fraudulent documents were available for various educational levels, subjects, and government exams. The police have successfully arrested two individuals associated with the production of multiple fake marksheets.

Arrests Made Following Sting Operation

After a carefully executed sting operation, the police apprehended the two culprits operating a photo shop in Mehsana. Utilizing Photoshop and Xerox machines, these individuals offered their services at a nominal fee of Rs 1500 per marksheets. Their elaborate operation allowed them to create counterfeit marksheets for any educational level or institution.

Primary Conspirator and Forged Documents

During the police investigation, Kuldeep Parmar was identified as the main conspirator in this illegal operation. Using his photocopying shop, Parmar forged marksheets for Classes 10 and 12, as well as ITI exams.

The consequences of this scam go beyond academic deceit. It has been uncovered that over 50 students secured employment in private companies using these fake marksheets. These counterfeit documents served as a means to gain job opportunities, deceiving employers who trusted their authenticity.

Unearthed Evidence

During the raid on Kuldeep Parmar’s office, the police discovered high-quality glossy paper and confiscated 15 counterfeit marksheets. This evidence further bolsters the case against the gang involved in these unlawful activities. Additionally, the police seized around Rs 86,000 in cash.
