The 14th batch of the flagship Post-Graduate Programme (MBA) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak, has recently been introduced, with a remarkable 78 percent of the new batch comprising women. This gender diversity achievement surpasses the institute’s previous record of 69 percent female representation established last year. The new batch consists of accomplished individuals, including national-level medalists in Swimming and Karate, and students from 24 states and union territories. An induction ceremony was held on July 1 and 2 to welcome and acquaint the new batch. Eminent personalities such as Kamal Kishore, Member Secretary of the National Disaster Management Authority; Sameer, a Guinness World Record Holder for penning the maximum number of songs; and retired Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain, who has received several prestigious awards, attended the ceremony. The event was chaired by Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, who extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and students.
