IIT professor wins global recognition with Eni Award for clean water innovations

Professor T Pradeep from IIT Madras has been conferred with the renowned Eni Award for his groundbreaking work in providing affordable and sustainable clean water using advanced nanoscale materials. 

Indian scientist Professor Thalappil Pradeep from IIT Madras has been honored with the prestigious Eni Award for his groundbreaking research in energy and the environment. The Eni Award is a globally recognized accolade that has been previously bestowed upon Nobel laureates and distinguished scientists. Professor Pradeep’s innovative work in utilizing nanoscale materials to provide affordable clean water has earned him this esteemed recognition. The President of Italy is expected to personally present the award to Professor Pradeep in the near future.

 

The Eni Award, established in 2007, aims to stimulate radical breakthroughs in energy efficiency, renewables, decarbonization, and environmental preservation.
